Legal firm Balfour+Manson has strengthened its Personal Injury team with the hire of two new Associates.

Adelle Walker has joined from Digby Brown, while Peter Littlefair has been recruited from Lyons Davidson. 

The personal injury team is part of Balfour+Manson’s 15-strong Litigation department, one of the largest in Scotland.

David Short, Head of Litigation at Balfour+Manson, said: “We are delighted to welcome two excellent young Associates to our Personal Injury team. Balfour+Manson has a long-standing reputation for excellence in its personal injury work and the arrival of Adelle and Peter adds more firepower to an already strong team.” 

Adelle, who has 8 years’ experience working in personal injury claims, trained at Thorntons  in Dundee, qualifying in 2014, and then at Digby Brown in Kirkcaldy from 2015-2019. She has specialist experience dealing with complex and high-value work accidents and fatal accidents.

Peter worked as a paralegal before his legal traineeship with Lyons Davidson, joining their litigation team after qualification in 2014. He takes a keen interest in the developing role of technology in the legal market.

Balfour+Manson is one of Scotland’s oldest independent legal firms, founded in 1888. It has offices in Edinburgh and Aberdeen and has 23 partners and around 125 staff.
