Female comedy trio The Dots make their debut at Edinburgh Festival Fringe with chaotic comedy cabaret THE DOTS

The Dots will appear at the Fringe this year for the very first time with the premiere of their unique blend of close-part harmony and utter comedy madness.

These girls are a slick, chic and sophisticated cabaret trio. Well, they were ’til the soprano stormed out. Oh, and then the mezzo died. Remaining Dot Helen is up Dot creek without a Dotting paddle, so in a haze of barrel scrapping anxiety, she holds emergency auditions to find understudies for this Edinburgh run.

Helen has an unhealthy obsession with her group.  After a traumatic break-up a few years ago, she focused all of her energy into The Dots.  The stakes are VERY high and this Edinburgh show means EVERYTHING to her. Not only does it have the potential to make The Dots a household name, but Helen’s happiness depends on it! It CANNOT be cancelled.

So who will these replacements be? Literally who is available? Are you? Regardless, the show MUST go on!

Sit back and watch as this newly botched together ensemble launch into an under-rehearsed whirlwind of musical mayhem – from pop and soul classics to wartime and musical theatre.  Expect major costume malfunctions and minor injuries as Helen desperately tries to uphold the bar of her beloved trio without a minims rest.

Come join The Dots for old fashioned slapstick with a modern twist, an assortment of musical genres and a good dollop of The Play That Goes Wrong.  Will they strike the right chord? Will they B flat? Can Helen stave the day? For-tis-si-mo-ment of truth!
