Johnnie Walker has become the official whisky partner of Scottish Rugby.

The three year partnership means the whisky will be at all Scotland matches at BT Murrayfield Stadium.

The drinks brand is preparing to open a global flagship visitor attraction in Edinburgh’s Princes Street in 2020.

David Cutter, president of global supply and procurement for Diageo, said: “Johnnie Walker and Scottish Rugby have so much in common that this is a natural partnership for both our organisations.

Dominic McKay, chief operating officer of Scottish Rugby said: “The agreement will see two like-minded brands working together to promote the best of Scotland, at home and abroad.”
