Police appeal after shop broken into in Tranent
Police are investigating after a housebreaking to a shop in Winton Place Tranent which took place around 1am this morning.
Entry had been forced to the premises and a two figure sum of cash stolen from within.
PC John Lumsden of the Musselburgh Community Investigation Unit, said “Officers from our Community Investigation Unit are carrying out enquiries into this incident.
“We believe that the individuals have left the area in a blue Audi S3.
“We are appealing to anyone who may have information regarding this incident to make contact with Police Scotland by calling ‘101’ and quoting reference number 133 of the 19th of June, or report anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
