Ice hockey – legend Cingel retires
Martin Cingel is hanging up his skates after a near 20-year career.
The Slovakian-born forward has iced for clubs in Edinburgh, Manchester, Dundee and Dumfries.
And the popular player retires at the age of 43.
He said: “My time is up. However, I can’t say enough thanks to my wife Ivana, sons Matthew and Mark and my mom.
“Without their support I would never been able to achieve anything.”
