Speedway – build-up to season speeds-up

Edinburgh Monarchs host working parties on Saturday and Sunday at Armadale from 9.30am to 2pm.

The main tasks are painting and gardening and all tools and materials are supplied.

They are also looking to recruit a plumber and electrician for two big projects.

Glasgow Tigers are looking for a trainee machine examiner and a trainee pits marshall.

The roles are voluntary and anybody interested does not need to have specific knowledge of speedway bikes.

A DIY/mechanical knowledge is a benefit and applicants would attend each meeting approximately three hours ahead of the start time and be there until after the second-half has finished. Generally this involves up to seven hours of a person’s time.
