Body of man found in wood near Newbridge

The body of a man has been found in the Newbridge area.

A member of the public called police following the discovery in an area of woodland near to Claylands Road at around 12.30pm on Thursday 14 March.

Formal identification is yet to take place however the family of missing man James Cornforth have been informed.

A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
