Man charged following murder in Muirhouse

Police have arrested and charged a man following a murder in the North West of the city which took place yesterday.

He is due to appear at court today.

A police spokesperson said: “The incident happened in the early hours of Monday 17^th December in the Muirhouse Terrace area.

“A 29-year old man is scheduled to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Tuesday 18 December.
