Murrayfield Racers are in action on Sunday when they entertain Kirkcaldy Kestrels in the Stuart Robertson Cup (6pm).

Racers are unbeaten against the Fifers this term having won one game and drawn the other.

Now the midweek results in the Elite League: Dundee Stars 6, Belfast Giants 4; Glasgow Clan 5, Sheffield Steelers 2

Let’s start on Tayside where Francois Bouchard fired a glory treble as Dundee Stars edged pace-setters Belfast Giants to win their fifth straight Elite League game.

And the victory in a televised fixture came only three days after the Tayside team beat play-off and league champions Cardiff Devils in Wales.

The purple patch has been a massive turnaround for the club who only weeks ago propped up the 11-strong table.

And seven days ago the Dundee side were blown away 8-0 by Giants in their Challenge Cup, quarter-final, first-leg at The Dundee Ice Arena.

At Braehead, Glasgow Clan claimed a 5-2 victory over Sheffield Steelers after leading 4-0 with less than ten minutes to go.

On Saturday, Dundee host Milton Keynes (face-off 7pm) and Fife entertain Coventry Blaze (7.15pm).

On Sunday, Dundee are at home to Sheffield (5pm) and Glasgow Clan host Manchester (4pm) with Fife at Milton Keynes (5.15pm).
