Shortlist of seven for the ‘Faces of a Vibrant Economy’ award
Grant Thornton has announced the names of their 2018 campaign to celebrate leaders who excel in better business.
This project is called Faces of a Vibrant Economy and identifies UK Leaders from all sectors of business and civic society who demonstrate that excellence in key areas.
The shortlist includes
- Shona McCarthy – CEO, Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society
- Simon Erlanger – Managing Director, Isle of Harris Distilleries
- Kate Lee & Qian Fox – Investment Managers, Baillie Gifford – Positive Change Strategy
- Deborah O’Neil – CEO, Novabiotics
- Chris Thewlis – Founder, GTS Group
- Alan Thornburrow – Director, Business in the Community Scotland
Andrew Howie, Grant Thornton’s Managing Partner in Scotland, said: “Our latest Faces of a Vibrant Economy each have an amazing story to tell about how their vision and innovative approach drove growth and success for them. Scotland’s business community already has a lot to be proud of, but if we want to continue moving forward, greater collaboration will the key element in building a more sustainable, vibrant Scotland.”
