Bethany asks you to buy an ethical Christmas tree this year
Bethany Christian Trust would like to suggest that you help their work by purchasing an ethical Christmas tree.
You can buy a Grade One Nordman fir tree and the money raised will go towards providing hot meals and a safe place to sleep at Bethany’s Winter Care Shelter.
Caring Christmas Trees is a unique social enterprise which has been running for 16 years. The trees are available in Edinburgh Glasgow and Fife at a few different pick up locations. You can also have them delivered in Edinburgh and Glasgow from the end of this month.
Kevin Downie, Project Coordinator at Bethany Christian Trust said: “I am delighted to see Bethany’s Caring Christmas Trees project back on this year. For the past 16 years, we have been giving folk across Scotland the chance to make a purchase with purpose. Of course you could buy your tree elsewhere; but with Caring Christmas Trees you not only get a beautiful real tree, you get to make a difference in someone’s life.”
