Hibs sign Bournemouth midfielder Emerson Hyndman on 6-month loan deal

Hibs have completed the signing of Bournemouth midfielder Emerson Hyndman on a six-month loan deal.

22-year-old Hyndman will be available for Hibs’ Europa League third qualifying round first leg meeting with Molde tomorrow subject to international clearance.

He joined Fulham’s academy in 2011 and signed a four-year contract with Bournemouth in 2016.

He was then loaned to Rangers where he spent six months, winning the club’s Young player of the Year award, scoring four goals in 17 games.

Hyndman is highly rated by Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe who believes that regular football will see him return to the club and challenge for a first team place.

Earlier this year he was linked with Wigan but has chosen Easter Road instead,

Neil Lennon has been busy in the transfer market, signing Liverpool goalkeeper Adam Bogdan, Darmstadt 98 striker Jamie Maclaren and Manchester City winger Thomas Agyepong, all on loan deals.

Hibs have also signed Barnsley midfielder Stevie Mallan and Florian Kamberi on a three-year deal, following the striker’s successful loan stint last term.

Dylan McGeouch left to go to Sunderland, and John McGinn has just signed for Aston Villa.
