Hostelling Scotland offers two Edinburgh bases during the summer promising value and flexible accommodation to budget conscious travellers.

Edinburgh Haddington Place Youth Hostel offers 143 beds and the Edinburgh Metro Youth Hostel in Edinburgh University’s Halls of Residence in the Cowgate another 199 beds. They are open until late August/early September.

Accommodation types vary from self-contained flats to en-suite rooms perfect for individual travellers, couples, families and groups.

Most include, self-catering kitchens, on-site laundry facilities and free wi-fi access but check individual youth hostels for details.
