Three arrested after death of man in house on Magdalene Drive

A woman aged 26 and two men aged 18 and 36 have been arrested after a 49-year-old man was allegedly stabbed to death in a house.

Emergency services were called to Magdalene Drive in Edinburgh shortly before 6.30pm on Sunday.

A forensic examination is ongoing and inquiries are continuing.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: “Three people have been arrested following the death of a 49-year-old man at an address in Magdaelene Drive on Sunday.

“A woman aged 26 and two men aged 18 and 36 remain in custody and inquiries to establish the full circumstance surrounding this incident are ongoing.”
