Dancers take to the floor in Princes Street Gardens
Dancers from across Edinburgh took to the floor last night in Princes Street Gardens for the opening night of another summer season of Scottish dancing.
Scottish country dancing at the Ross Bandstand in Princes Street Gardens is a magnificent experience, and Edinburgh Castle created an atmospheric backdrop for an evening of fun in the sun!
Local dancers have been organising summer dancing in Edinburgh for decades and every Monday evening local groups lead the dancing, all set to music from fantastic Scottish dance bands. A team of dancers is on hand to demonstrate the dances and there is always someone willing to lend a helping hand.
Scottish country dancing is a great way to have fun, keep fit and make new friends.
