Penicuik Breakfast Club is taking a summer break until mid-September.

The club, run at The Craigie in association with Crystal FM, aims to bring local businessmen and women together to network.

Juan Torquemada, deputy general manager at The Craigie, said the first two meetings have produced lively debate.

They had also allowed business people to network.

He added: “It is wise to take a break now that people are starting to go on holiday.

“The response has been really encouraging and the re-start is something to look forward to after the summer.”

He added: “We will be having the meetings once a month starting on Tuesday, September 18 at 7.30am.

“The early start is so as not to interfere with the working day and we aim to finish in time for people to be at their desks or retail premises ready to open at 9am.”

He added: “I’ll be delighted to talk to anybody who is interested in coming along and if they want more information then contact me on juan@thecraigie.co.uk or ring me on 01968 672213.”
