Doodle my Dug – this Sunday at the Golf Tavern

When you step foot into Golf Tavern, you are stepping into a little piece of Scottish history.

There has been a tavern on this site since 1456, nestled on the edge of the Bruntsfield Links.

Proud to say that they are a much loved Edinburgh venue and of course one of Scotland’s oldest and finest public houses.

This Sunday, the Golf Tavern will be welcoming you and your four legged pals to a one of a kind dog event! You may be aware that the Golf Tavern prides themselves in being a (very!) dog friendly venue. You will have a unique opportunity of getting a charity caricature of you and your best friend in support of all the good dogs out there who need our help.

The venue will be launching their new dog menu with plenty of canine canapes and dog grog for them to enjoy. There will also be a full range of food & drinks for the humans to enjoy too! The caricatures are free but a donation to Edinburgh Samoyed Rescue would be appreciated.

They are a small non – profit charity organisation who rehome many different breeds of dogs. Edinburgh Samoyed Rescue does not receive any funding from other bodies and rely solely on donations and money raised from events. All monies raised go directly towards the upkeep of the animals, food and veterinary bills.

If you are a dog lover, you do not want to miss this event! Caricatures are offered on a first come first serve basis so get down early.
