Horseshoe snapped-up by Leadburn owners
The popular Horseshoe Inn at Eddleston has been sold to the owners of the nearby Leadburn Inn.
Iain and Fiona Dempster will take over from the end of April and the announcement was made in a statement by the outgoing ownership to their mailing list.
The popular Horseshoe has won a number of awards including two AA rosettes during the last 12 years.
And it was AA Restaurant of the Year for Scotland and Ireland in 2007.
The Dempsters plan to be closed for a short period and the information sheet said it will re-open for business 4 May.
The new look Horseshoe will aim to be a gastropub, offering quality food, seven days a week in a relaxed, friendly and welcoming environment.
There will be a wide selection of wines, draught beers and spirits and the eight bedrooms in the former Victorian Primary School will remain as they are.
