A game under way at Glasgow’s National Hockey Centre

Glasgow’s National Hockey Centre will be home to the Pakistan men’s squad for five Pro League home matches next year.

They will play Great Britain, Australia, India, Argentina, Belgium, Germany, New Zealand, and the Netherlands in May and June next year.

The competition is a new initiative where the world’s top teams play each other in a series of televised globally home and away matches, leading to Olympic and World Cup qualification.

Pakistan will also play five matches annually against Scotland men at venues across Scotland as part of the agreement.

Pakistan men’s home fixtures to be played at the Glasgow’s National Hockey Centre in 2019, are:
Sunday 12 May: Pakistan v Argentina
Saturday 25 May: Pakistan v Great Britain
Sunday 26 May: Pakistan v Belgium
Friday 31 May: Pakistan v Germany
Friday 7 June: Pakistan v Australia
Sun 16 June 2019 – Pakistan v Netherlands
Friday 21 June: Pakistan v New Zealand
Sunday 23 June: Pakistan v Spain

Ticket information will be announced later in the year and a Scottish Hockey spokesman said The Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) were looking for a neutral venue and found Glasgow as the ideal location.
