Alpaca visit a big success
Residents at Cairndean House in Colinton were given the chance to get up close with Amadeus and Calvin, two alpacas.
The animals from BobCat Alpacas in nearly Bonaly toured the home and gardens and residents were encouraged to interact with them.
They also learned about the history of the animals.
Gillian Goodall, home manager, said: “We are always looking to plan interesting and exciting activities for residents and, as so many have a keen interest in nature and wildlife, we invited the alpacas along.
“You could see from residents’ reactions just how much they enjoyed interacting with Amadeus and Calvin.”
