Ice hockey – new blow for Braehead
Braehead Clan forward Tyler Scofield has been sidelined for up to three weeks.
The 33-year-old Canadian was hit by a flying puck last weekend which resulted in a lower body injury.
Clan face bottom club Edinburgh Capitals at Braehead on Saturday and visit second-bottom Dundee Stars on Sunday.
Coach John Tripp said: “With (Ryan) Potulny and (Tyler) Shattock already sitting out, losing Scofield is another blow.
“We need to pull together, work hard, play for each other and we still have the quality to win games.”
