Darrell at helm of Scotland’s biggest trade organisation

Darrell Matthews is the new managing director for SELECT, Scotland’s leading electrotechnical trade organisation.

It is Scotland’s largest trade association and its membership carries out more than 90 per cent of all electrical installation work.

With a turnover of more than £1b, the industry provides employment for 15,000 people.

Darrell said: “This is an organisation which is keen to grow and to promote its members and create a safer and better regulated industry.”

Kevin Griffin, SELECT President, said: “Darrell was the outstanding candidate from a long list of applicants.”
