The Royal Bank of Scotland on Lanark Road Juniper Green was closed along with other branches across the city,

including the one at the corner of Castle Street and George Street as we realised just the other day.

Locals are concerned to try and do something about the loss of these services and Juniper Green Community Council have highlighted to us the newest online survey.

The consultants engaged to research the possible need for face-to-face banking in our communities have created a financial services survey online here.

If you are concerned about the absence of banking in the valley communities this is your chance to have your say.

If you prefer to submit a paper response to the survey then you can pick up a copy of the survey form at Balerno, Currie or Colinton Libraries or at Molly’s Deli, 574 Lanark Road, Juniper Green.

You can complete the survey there and then or return it later to any of the locations.

The survey is only open until Saturday 18 November.

If you experience any difficulty accessing either the online or paper versions please let Cliff Beevers know at c.e.beevers@blueyonder.co.uk or by telephone on 0131 453 4517.
