Setting off from Edinburgh Castle, Gordon Smith gets a final hug from wife Tracy as he embarks on a 1,650 mile solo and unsupported cycle to the Rock of Gibraltar. The 57 year-old fundraiser for terminal illness charity Marie Curie, expects to complete his epic challenge in 16 days. Gordon is hoping to raise £20k for the charity.
