Women’s basketball – Lewis back with Pride

Robyn Lewis has re-signed for Caledonia Pride for the upcoming Women’s British Basketball League (WBBL) campaign.

Lewis, who captained the team in their inaugural WBBL season, will continue in the Guard position.

The player said: “We made great strides as a team last year and, even in though we are in the early stages of pre-season, I am confident we are going to build on the progress made.

“Playing in front of a home crowd is always really special and I am already counting down the days to our home opener against Nottingham on October 7.”

Pride will take to the court in a pre-season tournament in Spain this September.
