Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2017 – Eleanor Colville: Bigamous
Eleanor Colville: Bigamous
The Bottle Room @ Just the Tonic, 9:20pm
From the SOHO THEATRE YOUNG COMPANY, Eleanor Colville’s début hour is a riot of high-energy character comedy.
BIGAMOUS takes place in and around a wedding, using the pit-falls of modern romance as a way to meet a cast of absurd and heart-warming characters.
In a whirlwind of audience interaction, musical comedy and silly-voices, two unsuspecting members of the public will tie the knot every night, and live happily ever after (we hope).
Eleanor Colville is a graduate of the Cambridge Footlights International Tour Show, and current member of the Soho Theatre Young Company. She has performed as part of Ginificent Theatre Company, and written for BBC Radio 4’s Newsjack. She is mentored by Vicky Featherstone and Kate Rowland as part of the Women of the Future Scheme at Central St Martins University.
Joseph Winters has recently worked as a director and producer at Hampstead Theatre, Trafalgar Studios, Royal Opera House, English National Opera, Sonia Friedman Productions and the Bunker Theatre. His other shows at the Fringe include ‘Ken Cheng: Chinese Comedian’ at Pleasance, and ‘The Canon’ at Underbelly.
