Berwick Bandits entertain high-flying Ipswich Witches on Saturday with Lewis Bridger still sidelined with back problems.

Witches warmed-up with a 60-32 home win over Scunthorpe Scorpions on Thursday to preserve their 100 per cent record at Foxhall.

Team Manager Ritchie Hawkins now wants to take that home form on the road as Witches face a crucial weekend at Berwick and Newcastle Diamonds. Tapes-up 7pm

Elsewhere, Dan Bewley revved-up for Glasgow tigers revenge mission against Peterborough Panthers on Saturday by claiming second place in the British Under-19 Championship.

Bewley is a key men as Glasgow aim to tame a Panthers side with former Tigers star Ben Barker guesting instead of World Cup racer Chris Harris.

Tigers’ team manager Stewart Dickson believes Panthers have found form but added: “If we ride to our capabilities they should be going home pointless.” Tapes up 7pm.
