Golf – Yannick triumphs in Intercollegiate

Yannick’s approach to the final hole as the Loretto Golf Academy pupil claims title

Yannick Artigolle shot a final round 75 for a plus-six total of 219 to take victory and become the Intercollegiate Tour Players’ Champion for 2017.

The 17-year-old Loretto Golf Academy pupil, who is from Hong Kong, hit a fine drive down the 18th and his approach found the middle of the green.

Yannick had two putts for victory. He qualified for the National Finals at Moortown near Leeds with fellow academy pupils Lou Tan (17 from Hong Kong), Harry Austin (15 from Dumfries) and Caroline Zolg (17 from Germany).
