Clubbiedean Fishery in the Pentland Hills has just changed hand following a tender process.

Former joiner and keen fisherman Steven Johnston from South Queensferry is the new man in charge.

And he has enjoyed a strong start with over 50 fish caught on his open day.

The 12-acre reservoir in the Regional Park offers fly fishing from boats and now bait fishing from banks.

Steven hopes that bait fishing will encourage young people to take up the sport and move into fly fishing in the longer term.
