Midlothian and East Lothian Chamber of Commerce are developing a series of netwalks.

It’s a networking concept that provides uninterrupted ´talk time´with like-minded business people whilst surrounded by inspirational landscapes.

The most recent followed some of the routes at Roslin Glen, Midlothian.

Members, and their dogs, explored the countryside and dramatic wooden gorge of Roslin Glen passing the semi-ruined Rosslyn Castle.

The walk lasted approximately 90 minutes and leader, Gavin Tosh of Edinburgh-based Clerwood Legal Services, said: “There are no set agendas, no networking rules just a great walk in beautiful countryside that allows you time to think, reflect, chat, bounce ideas and develop business relationships.

“Netwalking can help develop new business relationships, reflect upon your own business, generate new ideas, relax, de-stress and re-focus

“NetWalking allows you time to spend working on your business, not in your business.”
