Etellect open new Edinburgh office

Etellect which is a business automation specialist is to open a new office in Edinburgh to act as its mobile development hub.

Andrew Russell will head up the new outlet, moving from the office at Hillington in Glasgow to new premises at 93 George Street.

Andrew (24)  is an IT graduate of the University of Edinburgh and will be looking to recruit other highly qualified graduates. He said: “This is a great opportunity to establish a physical presence in the east of the country and particularly in proximity to Edinburgh University, which produces a wealth of software development talent each year.

“We will be concentrating on developing mobile suites to support Etellect’s EAutomate product and customising client apps based on Etellect’s core technology.”

Greg Lavelle, managing director of Etellect, said: “The new office is another milestone for Etellect and we are delighted to put it under the supervision of Andrew, who has proved to be a very talented individual as well as a very pleasant person to work with.

“The creation of a mobile development hub will help us with the continuing roll-out of our ground-breaking new technology to our client base of SMEs in Scotland and in the wider UK.”

Etellect, which is on track for £1 million turnover within two years and employs six full-time staff at its Glasgow HQ, has been a pioneer in autobot technology and has been strongly supported by Scottish Enterprise.
