Me For Queen
Wednesday 8 February, 7.30pm
Me for Queen aka Mary Erskine is inspired by people and their stories. Me For Queen’s piano-based songs draw obvious comparisons to Regina Spektor and Carol King but manages to fuse hints of Kate Bush and Laura J Martin. Mary made her Queen’s Hall debut back in 2013 supporting fellow Fifer James Yorkston. Plus special guests.
This performance takes place in the Hope Scott Room.

Tim Kliphius Sextet

Award-winning violinist Tim Kliphuis and his friends improvise on themes by Vivaldi, Bartok, Ellington, John McLaughlin and other great of the music world, drawing from Baroque, Northern European Gypsy Jazz and folk traditions. Joining Tim are Greg Lawson, Seonaid Aitken, Su-a Lee, Nigel Clark and Roy Percy.
