Marc Lefebvre played 38 games for Edinburgh Capitals in season 2009/10, scoring four goals and collecting 13 assists.
That is history (writes Nigel Duncan) The 34-year-old Canadian desperately wants maximum points from this weekend’s double-header with fellow-strugglers Capitals to boost the club’s play-off ambitions.
Dundee Stars head coach hopes that Justin Farina and Scott Brannon will be fit enough to ice.
The first game is at Murrayfield on Saturday (6pm) with the return at Dundee 24-hours later.
Stars have 20 points from 28 games and are ninth in the ten-strong table with Capitals anchoring the league on 17 points from 26 fixtures.
Above them are Coventry Blaze with 22 points from 30 outings with Manchester Storm on 27 points from 27 games and sixth-placed Fife also with 27 points from 27 fixtures.
Dundee’s coach said: “These are, without doubt, two big games. Hopefully, we’ll be at full-strength for the first time since October so fingers-crossed.
“We have to find a way to get points this weekend as we don’t want to lose touch with teams above us.”
