Ruairi Logan struck the right chord with fellow competitors at the National Wheelchair Tennis Championships as the 14-year-old Music School student was voted Players’ Player of the Year.
That was after the S3 pupil was crowned Boys’ Division 1 champion after playing against an 18-year-old.
The talented teenager also won the Men’s Doubles title and, in the Adult Singles, he knocked out the No 1 seed in his opening match before going on to lose to the eventual champion in a thrilling semi-final, tie-break.
But his talents are not confined to sport as Ruairi played drums in the Christmas Concert on Tuesday night.
