Man charged following Drum Street pub attack

A man has been charged with attempted murder after a 28-year-old male was seriously injured within a pub in Drum Street, Edinburgh on Sunday.

A police spokesperson said: “Following extensive inquiries by officers from the Violence Reduction Unit at Gayfield CID.

“The 60-year-old was arrested in Essex yesterday and is now scheduled to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Friday 2nd December.”
