Three cars stolen during housebreaking in Linlithgow
A police investigation is underway after three cars were stolen from the same house in Linlithgow in the early hours of Sunday.
Housebreakers entered the address in Avontoun Park at around 3.20am, and took the keys to a green Land Rover Defender, a silver Hyundai i20 and a silver Mazda MX5.
The cars were then stolen from outside the house before the Mazda was later recovered in West Pilton Drive, Edinburgh.
Police are still looking to find those responsible and trace the Land Rover, with registration number SK54 WUA, and the Hyundai, with registration number EO62 UFN.
The suspects are described as a group of either two or three men wearing dark clothes and obscuring their faces. One was wearing a light-grey hooded top and had blond hair.
“It is likely that those responsible will look to utilise these vehicles for committing further crimes and I would ask that anyone that sees the Land Rover or Hyundai contacts us immediately.
“In addition, anyone who saw any suspicious activity around Avontoun Park during the early hours of Sunday morning, or who has information that can help us trace the suspects, should also get in touch.”
Those with information can contact Police Scotland on 101 or alternatively the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
