Our Pick of Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2016 – The Eulogy

eulogy

A parody of a funeral speech, The Eulogy is an oration gone wrong in all the right ways.

The show features a menagerie of characters whose inept and inapt speeches give anything but a proper homage; the deceased rolls in his casket whilst the congregation cries tears of laughter.

Michael Burgos, writer and performer of the one-person comedic play The Eulogy, makes his Edinburgh Fringe Festival debut after taking home Best Comedy at the 2016 Adelaide Fringe.

Burgos has had a string of successful runs, including “Best Show” at the Pittsburgh Fringe, as well as being nominated for the “Emerging Artist” Award at the 2016 Adelaide Fringe Festival and having a sold-out run at the Adelaide Fringe.
