Man being assessed under Mental Health act after Clermiston fire
A man is being assessed under the Mental Health Act after residents were evacuated from a block of flats in Durar Drive yesterday.
Police detained a man shortly after the incident, and officers have revealed that he is now being monitored by doctors.
A police spokesman said: “A male has been detained and is currently being assessed under the Mental Health Act in connection with a disturbance and a fire at a block of flats in Durar Drive, Edinburgh.”
