Police release CCTV following Haymarket attack

British Transport Police (BTP) has released CCTV images of two men, as it is believed they may have information after a 37-year-old man was assaulted at Haymarket station on Saturday, 21 May 2016 – the day of the Scottish Cup final at Hampden Park in Glasgow.

The incident occurred on platform 3 of the station around 9.45pm. The victim was taken to hospital with a head injury – he has since been released.

One of the men in the photographs is described as being about 6 feet in height, heavy build, with short blonde or red hair and facial hair. He was wearing a black turtle neck top, grey dress trousers and black shoes.

The second man is described as being thin with short blond hair and facial hair. He was wearing a white t-shirt, black shirt, blue jeans and black shoes.
