Teenage boy due in court following robbery in Broxburn

Police have arrested and charged a teenage boy following an assault and robbery in Broxburn.

The incident took place on Wednesday 13 April around 3.40pm in Loaninghill Road.

A 15-year-old was later taken to St Johns Hospital in Livingston with minor injuries.

The 14-year-old is due to appear at Livingston Sheriff Court today.

Inspector Scott Robertson of Broxburn said: “I want to reassure the local community that behaviour of this kind will absolutely not be tolerated, and a suspect was quickly traced and charged in connection with this.
