Handwritten note reporting threats found at Edinburgh College

A police investigation is underway after handwritten note reporting threats from an unnamed group of individuals against several schools, colleges and the Ocean Terminal shopping centre over the next few weeks was found on a bathroom door of the Telford campus of Edinburgh college on Monday.

A spokesman for Police Scotland said: “Police in Edinburgh are investigating reports of a threatening communication found on a bathroom door in an education building in north Edinburgh on Monday.

“Enquiries are at an early stage and police are working closely with partners to provide reassurance to the public.”
