Luxury Edinburgh hotel reaches finals of GQ’s Awards 2016
The Chester Residence is the only Scottish hotel in the ‘Best Hotel’ category
Five-star Edinburgh hotel, The Chester Residence, is the only Scottish hotel to be shortlisted for ‘Best Hotel’ in the prestigious GQ Food and Drink Awards, 2016.
With thousands of entrants to the GQ Food and Drink Awards 2016, The Chester Residence is one of six UK hotels to be shortlisted in the ‘Best Hotel’ category. This nomination follows on from The Chester Residence’s success at the TripAdvisor Travellers’ Choice Awards 2016 where the team scooped three awards including second luxury hotel in the UK. The Chester Residence has won a total of 21 awards since opening in 2006.
The Chester Residence, located in Edinburgh’s West End, comprises 23 luxurious townhouse apartments. Each apartment is individually designed with chic, contemporary decor and features the latest technology, security and amenities. Each apartment provides the benefits of serviced apartments, combined with the glamour of a five-star hotel.
Owner of The Chester Residence, Graham Wood, said: “We are excited to be flying the flag for Scotland in the prestigious ‘Best Hotel’ category at the GQ Food and Drink Awards 2016. Being nominated for coveted industry awards such as these is a credit to the hard work and dedication our team put in to deliver a first class service.”
The GQ Food and Drink Awards will be judged by a panel of experts with the winners announced in April.
