Che will be supported by Indigo Velvet and all will meet and greet their fans after the performances. The Glasgow Philharmonia Orchestra is a leading youth orchestra which has performed at many prestigious events since 2012.

They are now coming back to Edinburgh with a great programme.

They will play Strauss, Bruch and Tchaikovsky  at Greyfriars Kirk in a light hearted fashion meant to bring their audience to their feet.

They played Broadway Hits at a sell-out concert recently, collaborating with West End stars.

Conductor and Founder of Glasgow Philharmonia and 2015 Arts Young Scot of the Year, Ross Gunning said:  “Spreading our wings to Edinburgh with the Orchestra has been the ambition from the start and after the success of last year we return to the amazing venue of Greyfriars Kirk.

“Armed with challenging but easy listening repertoire, we’re completely prepared to tackle the Edinburgh Classical Music scene again in 2016. To perform in front of a live audience is the most wonderful experience our playerscould wish for and for the audience witnessing some of the most talented young performers in Scotland “
