Partner Promotions March 2016

Leading Scottish law firm Thorntons has strengthened its Edinburgh  team with a new senior promotion.

Solicitor Michelle Adam has been promoted to Partner at Thorntons, having previously been an associate at the firm.

Based in the firm’s Edinburgh office, Michelle specialises in personal injury claims and has a particular interest in employers liability and clinical negligence cases.

Vastly experienced in civil litigation, Michelle joined Thorntons in 2008 and qualified as a as a Solicitor Advocate with Civil Rights of Audience in the Supreme Courts in 2013.

Michelle, who was brought up in Edinburgh and now lives in Falkirk, enjoys jogging and helping out at her children’s football and swimming clubs.

As well as being a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers, Michelle is also a member of the Society of Solicitor Advocates.

Michelle has been promoted to Partner alongside three colleagues Employment lawyer, Debbie Fellows based in Dundee and Perth, Family lawyer Amanda Wilson based in Dundee and Susan Duff, who is based in the firm’s Cupar office.

As well as Edinburgh, Thorntons has offices in St Andrews, Anstruther, Dundee, Perth, Arbroath, Cupar, Montrose and Forfar.
