Witness appeal following break-ins in Roslin
Police in Midlothian are appealing for witnesses after three garages and sheds in Rosabelle Road, Station Road and Penicuik Road Roslin were broken into overnight on Monday 8th / Tuesday 9th February 2016.
Property including three pedal cycles were stolen during the incidents.One of the pedal cycles was recovered, however two remain outstanding.
One of the outstanding bikes is described as a red framed Mountain bike, Revolution Triad 3.0, with 24 gears, disc brakes, shimano components, and flat pedals.
Sergeant Michele Lindsay of Penicuik Police Station said: “Theft by housebreaking is a crime that significantly impacts on people’s lives I would ask people to review their security in the light of these break-ins and to make sure they have taken adequate steps to protect their possessions.
“I would also like to reassure the community that we have a dedicated team of officers investigating these crimes and would urge anyone who saw any suspicious activity or has any information in relation to these incidents to please contact police immediately on 101, or alternatively the charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
