Islam Feruz returns to Chelsea after loan spell at Hibs
Islam Feruz has returned to parent club Chelsea after spending the first half of the season at Easter Road and there are no shortage of clubs hoping to take him on loan for the remainder of the campaign.
Swansea City are the latest club to show interest, with the Premier League strugglers desperately short of strikers whilst Bournemouth and Derby County also monitoring the situation.
Chelsea signed the Scotland under-21 striker but has yet to get a breakthrough.
So far he has made six appearances as a substitute under Alan Stubbs however the form of his Hibs’ team-mates has limited his chances and the club will not stand in his way.
Yesterday Stubbs confirmed that the youngster would be returning to Chelsea although he would have been happy for him to remain.
He said: “He was no problem to me, but it’s unfortunate the team have been in very good form.
“He certainly has ability and I would have kept him until the end of the season, but I couldn’t give him the game time he wanted.
