Driver dies after collision on Murrayburn Road on New Year’s Day

Police have confirmed that the driver of a car involved in a collision on Murrayburn Road on Friday, January 1, has sadly died as a result of his injuries.

The 20-year-old was driving a Ford Fusion and was in a collision with a Vauxhall Mokka at around 6:45pm.

The driver of the other vehicle was uninjured.

Investigations are ongoing into the full circumstances and anyone who witnessed the collision is asked to contact police on 101.
