Alan Stubbs is expecting a tough challenge from Raith Rovers after being drawn with the Kirkcaldy side in the Fourth Round of the William Hill Scottish Cup.

Hibs have won twice against Raith so far this season; a 2-0 win at Easter Road followed by a 2-1 victory on the road.

The Easter Road side were the last ball to be drawn this afternoon and after learning the outcome Stubbs told the club website: “We’re obviously familiar with Raith Rovers and we know them well. The match will be a tough challenge, but I’m sure they’ll be saying the same.

“We’ll put it to the back of our minds for now – there’s a few weeks until the game so we’ll concentrate on the next few matches and look forward to the cup game when it comes around.”

The tie will be played on the weekend of the 9th of January, a week after the two sides face each other in league action. Tickets for the Ladbrokes Championship match are on sale now, and ticket information for the cup tie will follow in due course.
