Today we publish the last of our What’s on in Edinburgh this week guides in their present form. They have been very popular but we invite you to tell us your own what’s on news by using our Submit Your Srory tab here.

Look out for Rosemary’s new lists and what to do in the Scottish Capital starting next week!

Our correspondent John Knox writes a weekly article for us on all things Scottish (usually with a political bent somewhere!) and manages this week to weave a very appropriate tale.

John Hislop writes all our police news and anything to do with Hibs. He is a walking football fan these days!

Yesterday thankfully his beloved Hibs were victorious over Dumbarton by a decisive 4-2.

Read the match report here.

For a photographer John Preece writes good copy too. He was at the Edinburgh Rugby v Ulster match on Friday and his report is here.

Meanwhile the free community journalism training sessions continue in Craigmillar at the White House.

There are three sessions left and then an open day to discuss the way forward for the Chronicle Online which got funding from the council’s Communities and Neighbourhoods Committee. If you live in East Edinburgh then get involved!
