Eight-year-old boy injured in road traffic collision on Queen’s Drive

Police are appealing for witnesses following a road traffic collision on Queen’s Drive at 5.40pm today.

An 8-year-old boy sustained serious injuries and was conveyed to the Sick Kids hospital.

Queen’s Drive in Holyrood Park is currently closed from the Palace Roundabout to the park exit at Royal Park Terrace.

Inquiries are ongoing into the full circumstances.
